The driver can adjust the steering wheel and pedals to make the interior feel even more like a cockpit.

  Peugeot 308 review...
  Peugeots have always been renowned for their good handling and the 308 is no exception. It's good to drive and rides well, while the big boot and top quality interior give it the edge over rivals. There's plenty of safety equipment in the 308 and its high-class interior makes it feel like a more expensive car. The diesel engines are strong and at speed the Peugeot is very refined, so it's a great motorway companion. The 308 is let down by the fact that it's very similar to the 307 that preceded it, so it's cabhin seems a little old fashioned and doesn't feel like an up-to-date car. Meanwhile, the 308 SW has a better interior, but this car's trump card is its huge amount of space inside. The 308 SW is also available with an extra pair of seats in the back, which makes it massively practical and attractive if you have a large family.

  Peugeot guerrilla campaign in order to prommote the launch of a new model: 308. This capaign was divided in three different actions: 1. Truck: As a Teaser to promote the launching of the new Peugeot 308, two vehicle-transport trucks circulated trhoughout the country, carrying three giant 308 logotypes, matching the size of the car; and the text Its arriving!. The trucks stopped by the Peugeot dealers, enticing the curiosity of those passing by, and creating a rush of word-of-mouth about Peugeots new campaign 2. Boxes: 58 wooden boxes were parked in the main Portuguese cities - including the Azores and Madeira Islands. Built to match the 308 size, these boxes were made to entice the curiosity of the people passing by. A hole teased people to peep through it. Inside, a message invited everyone to go to nearest Peugeot dealer, after September 28th. 3. Airport: In order to promote the launching of the new 308, the 4 main Portuguese airports were the stage for three diferent actions. Transportation boxes were placed by the luggage belt, with It has arrived! 308 printed on it.

  We've caught the Peugeot testing its all-new replacement for the 307, dubbed 308. Text: Automedia / Photos: Automedia November 2006 Formerly the 308 was scheduled for release in 2008, but just recently Peugeot has decided to show the new model at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor show already, likely because of strong competition from German and Italian makes who are planning to introduce their new compact hatches in Frankfurt, too. And it is in fact the 308 hatchback version that will be the first one to hit the market as four- and two-door. Its overall length is said to grow by about 4 cm to 4.25 metres while its height is going to be slightly reduced. Just like Volkswagen with the 'Cross-Golf', PSA is also hiding an SUV variant of the 308 up their sleeve, however, this one without four wheel drive. A convertible-coupe and a wagon version are expected to follow about a year later. Power will come from a 2.2 four-cylinder turbodiesel engine delivering 170 HP as well as from the new 1.6 litre fuel injected engine generation delivering between 75 and 170 HP.
