But GM claims it took them 4 years to re-create something that they already had! Proves GM is not being quite honest about the VOLT-hoax, which they claim is "cutting edge". Back in 1994, there were no production EVs for sale; the EV1 was to be released, with defective GM-Delco batteries, in Nov., 1996. Well, Toyota and Honda proved that EVs work; they are still on the road! But today, you still cannot buy a Nickel Metal Hydride RAV4-EV, HondaEV or RangerEV, or EV1, because GM and Chevron colluded or cooperated to stop the production line.

[Autos]Using a 2010 Mercury Milan hybrid and 7,905 lithium iron-phosphate batteries, the car fully charges in about 10 minutes.
