World Naked Bike Ride London, 13th...I was walking to Waterloo train station yesterday when I stumbled across an army of naked cyclists! According to its website, www.worldnakedbikeride.org its all about 'peaceful, imaginative and fun protest against oil dependency and car culture. A celebration of the bicycle and also a celebration of the power and individuality of the human body. It was funny, and actually quite inspiring, to see - not least because there were so many people taking part! It actually gives me some hope that the tide of puritanism sweeping the country may yet be turned.
