Earlier this morning, the wall street journal reported that Sony Inc. is developing a new lineup of hand held portable devices including a smart phone and a multifunction device that has netbook, e-reader, and PSP functions. The video above will summarize this along with show some concept photos of the devices. The big question relating these two devices is what the OS on the devices will have. Most definitely, there will probably be a modified Play Station OS, but there could always be an alternative such as the devices having Android. One down side of having the Play Station OS is there wont be a core application store as good as the Android Marketplace or iphone App store. What do you think of these devices?
