  Seymourpowell Aircruise - Future of...
  The idea behind the Seymourpowell Aircruise Concept is that it will be a floating luxury hotel that is over 800 feet tall and will float like a large balloon over cityscapes or dramatic landscapes like the watching of the migration of the wildebeests in Kenya. An ocean trip from New York to London would take 37 hours. The Seymourpowell Aircruise would accept up to 100 guests, and 10 luxury apartments would be up for grabs. The Seymourpowell Aircruise will above all be safe. Hydrogen gas will provide the lift. The airship will also be powered by solar energy plus several hydrogen fuel cells which will provide not only the motivation but also safe drinking water for the customers. This serene type of air travel will include large spaces within the craft for dining, lounging and a bar for entertainment. The crew at Seymourpowell anticipate that the Aircruise hotel could be ready as early as 2015 if the project is a go. This may be a bit pie-in-the-sky as far as how future hydrogen travel may go.   Nude Protest: Airport Body Scanners...
  The underwear bombers Christmas Day attack has prompted calls for the increased use of full-body scanners at airports. So to protest, members of the Pirate Party in Germany organized a fleshmob of people who stripped down to their skivvies last Sunday and converged on the Berlin-Tegal airport. The protesters marked their bodies with a number of messages such as, Something to hide? and Be a good citizen — drop your pants. One woman has the word diaper scrawled on her lower back with an arrow pointing to her underwear and the word prosthetic printed on her leg. The word piercing and an arrow point to one of her breasts. The full-body scanners use high-frequency radio waves to produce an image of a passengers naked body beneath clothes. Anything a passenger is carrying against the body — weapons, drugs or explosives — would be exposed. The scanners would also reveal the presence of prosthetic devices and breast implants. As such, there have been privacy and legal concerns raised about the invasive equipment, particularly because its unclear if the scanners would be able to detect explosives hidden in body cavities and would therefore likely provide only minimal security.

  This is a quick video I made to highlight some of the privacy violations occurring at airports because of the new naked body scanners. The TSA and Department of Homeland Security are using the classic method of problem, reaction, solution with the Christmas Day terrorist to expand their surveillance power over the American populace. These new body scanners can see you completely naked and use microwaves, which may harm your body. Even worse, they can be used on children.   Spotting at Los Angeles International Airport Los Angeles International Airport Westchester, California Thursday October 1, 2009 IN THIS VIDEO, I was hoping to attend the practice show at MCAS Miramar, but seeing how I was not granted access, I took a day trip up to LAX. The first part of this video shows arrivals landing on Runway 24R, shot from a park across from the In-N-Out Burger on Sepulveda Blvd. The remainder of the video covers departures (and some taxi video) of aircraft departing from the southern complex of LAX, utilizing Runway 25R. I took the day not knowing what to expect in terms of any special schemes, but I got a boat load of them on this outing! I can't explain why there was a water cannon ceremony for the Lan Chile 767-300, and I don't know what happened to that one United Airlines A320. I did have the scanner going but ended up turning it off because for some reason it'd flip between frequencies. Departures were shot from a spot that is universally known as Imperial Hill.
